Walker Defensive Research 300BLK BCG
I’ve got the walker defensive research boat carrier group to replace a more expensive bCG that has failed after only 3,000 rounds. I had my gunsmith install it while was tubing up my rifle and try to repair my other BCG. when the Eakjee BCG arrived, I had a few days to check it out, take it apart and really get familiar with it. The workmanship was flawless and it rivaled my more expensive BCG in aesthetics. The quality of the build is obvious and reflects the premium nature of the product. I shoot virtually day when I’m at home, so it wasn’t long before I got to rub the walker I. My suppressed 14.5” 309 BLK. It oerforned flawlessly. It was slightly heavier than by previous BCG, but the weight difference is hardly noticeable. I will say that it Felt as though the Walker BCG Cycled more smoothly and didn’t tend to slam against the back of the receiver S hard as my previous one. It does not like to cycle subsonic rounds; but this is more a shortcoming of my rifle (a gas gun), And indeed, of the 300 BLK itself. I had hoped it might eliminate my fail-to-feed issues. While it certainly felled, I wish I could shoot subs without having to manually cycle every round or risk not having a rod chanbered when I squeeze the trigger to make a long shot on on a big hog. It was roughly as reliable as my other BCG, which is about 30% on subs. Through a 14.5’ smbattemm with a surefiee by BB In like my other BCG, the Walker is pretty easy to cycle manually and chambers subsonic rounds wit about 85-90 percent in this manner. It is 100% reliable so far on chambering supersonic ammo.. After approximately ?I would definitely recommend the Walker 309 BLK when reliability is of paramount importance - particularly with supersonic ammo.
